Starting Salary: c. £60,000 Depending on skills and experience

This is a great job for someone who is an experienced Project Manager looking to deliver complex, high-profile change initiatives in a global organisation. You’ll enjoy working with a wide range of stakeholders, leading delivery across multiple teams and suppliers and driving successful business outcomes.

While a background in Cyber Security is desirable, it is not essential – this role would suit someone with strong project delivery, governance, and stakeholder management experience who is keen to develop their knowledge in this critical and fast-moving area.

A bit about the job:

As part of Aviva’s Global Cyber Change team, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of strategic cyber security projects that help protect our customers, employees, data, and business. Working across a global portfolio, you’ll apply the appropriate project delivery methodologies, governance frameworks, and change practices to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

You’ll manage relationships with business stakeholders, delivery teams and third-party suppliers, while providing robust governance, reporting, and risk management. Joining a highly motivated and visible team operating across Norwich, London, Bristol, and York, you’ll play a key role in delivering solutions that strengthen Aviva’s cyber resilience and support our broader business objectives.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:
  • Proven experience delivering medium-to-large scale or complex projects, balancing scope, cost, quality, risk, and timelines.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build effective relationships across business, technology, and supplier environments.
  • Experience managing project governance, reporting, dependencies, risks, and issues within structured delivery frameworks.
  • Good understanding of project lifecycles and delivery methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall approaches.
  • Experience leading virtual teams and coordinating multiple suppliers or delivery partners to achieve successful outcomes.

What you’ll get for this role:
