Senior Propositions Manager - Individual Annuities

This role is ideal for someone who excels in leading a team, ensuring we deliver on our promises and continually improving customer outcomes while adhering to Consumer Duty standards.
A bit about the job
Responsible for managing a team focused on Propositions and Product Management who develops and executes comprehensive product plans and roadmaps aligned with business objectives and in compliance with internal policies, regulations and industry best practices.
Oversees the development and implementation of policies and procedures, incorporating feedback and input from customers, outsource partners and in-house teams on product strategy and product governance including risk event remediation activity.
Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams and third party portal providers to drive forward propositional improvements aligned to our strategic objectives.
Accountable for the delivery of a successful team, evaluate and monitor team performance, provide guidance, coaching and support, share expertise and knowledge to help team members develop their skills and abilities and to ensure their professional growth and development.
Keep up-to-date with industry developments, share expert insights and recommendations based on these developments, provide thought leadership on emerging trends, lead and manage various projects and initiatives and deliver regular reporting to senior stakeholders.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Strong Propositions Development and Product Governance capability with knowledge of appropriate business standards and frameworks e.g. Customer Propositions Framework (CPF)
Customer Centric approach with a good understanding of Consumer Duty requirements and ability to apply to continually improve outcomes whilst balancing risk and financial impacts
Strong people management, organisational and relationship skills to drive forward business effectiveness and efficiency
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to work at pace, prioritise under pressure and achieve strict deadlines cognisant of decisions from a customer, risk and financial impact
Knowledge of the Individual Annuities market preferable but not essential
