This is a great opportunity for someone who's experienced in Risk and Governance with great stakeholder management skills and a strategic mindset. You will bring a strong risk and governance background to co-ordinate with key stakeholders to influence delivery of change for the growth and efficiency of the business, leading to improved customer outcomes.
A bit about the job:
This is an exciting time to join the Personal Lines business and will help shape the business in the future. The role will require the individual to support and drive change across the Personal Lines business across a number of channel areas (including transformation and customer operations). You will collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels, including MD and SMF's to support the transition of the key strategic deliveries and change, ensuring that the pricing and product control environment evolves and is sustainably embedded.
This involves work closely with other Risk Business Partners across the Personal Lines business to ensure the collective assessment of issue identification, supporting risk owners with insight into trends in issues and to facilitate the remediation. A key component of this role is continuing to drive and embed Consumer Duty within the Personal Lines business and identify themes and trends to support the delivering of good customer outcomes.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Strong knowledge of Risk management frameworks and principles (particularly control and governance requirements) and change management processes/change delivery.
- Experience working in a Financial services regulated environment, ideally within general insurance/personal lines.
- Excellent stakeholder management, business partnering and influencing skills at all levels and demonstrate positive attitude towards risk management.
- Using your experience spot patterns and drive thematic observations and actions to drive continuous improvement.
- A proactive approach, with the ability to anticipate future risks / trends as well as developing sufficient mechanisms and controls to mitigate these appropriately.

- Starting salary circa £75,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
