A bit about the job:

We’re looking for a Surety Underwriter to manage and grow a profitable portfolio of business. You’ll work closely with brokers and customers, underwriting risks and supporting policy management from start to finish. This role sits within a collaborative team that values insight, integrity, and innovation. You’ll also contribute to audits, process reviews, and continuous improvement projects. It’s a role where your decisions directly support great customer outcomes.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Experience underwriting Surety risks in the UK market (new business and renewals).

• Strong understanding of UK regulations, contracts, and legislation relevant to Surety.

• Proven ability to manage a profitable portfolio and handle end-to-end policy processes.

• A collaborative mindset – you enjoy working with others to solve problems.

• A customer-first approach, with a focus on fairness and good outcomes.
