Senior Underwriter Political Violence and Terrorism

This is a great job for someone with a strong Political Violence and Terrorism underwriting background who is keen to help shape a growing portfolio across both Lloyd's and Company platforms.

A bit about the job:

Political Violence and Terrorism is a growing area of business for Aviva across both our Company and Lloyd's platforms. As Senior Underwriter, you'll support the Head of Crisis Management in delivering the underwriting strategy and driving profitable growth. The role involves underwriting complex risks, developing broker and client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. You'll help maintain high underwriting standards while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Success in the role will contribute to the continued growth and development of this specialist portfolio.

Skills and experience we're looking for:

• Experience underwriting Political Violence and Terrorism risks across both Company and Lloyd's markets.

• Strong knowledge of Political Violence and Terrorism products, market dynamics and underwriting best practice.

• Track record of delivering profitable underwriting results and managing complex risks.

• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and support informed underwriting decisions.

• Experience building and maintaining effective relationships with brokers, clients and key stakeholders.
