An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Java Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java programming and a passion for developing scalable and efficient applications. If this is something of interest, then we would love to hear from you.
A bit about the job:
The successful applicant will have a key role to play in the individual protection Platform team, supporting the presentation layer individual protection platform across high profile business change programmes which include new distribution arrangements with major high street Business Partners as well as solutions supporting Financial Advisors, Policyholders and internal Business functions.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
You will collaborate with Customers, Solution Designers, Environment and Deployment teams and Testers and will contribute to the delivery and support of complex solutions working in agile development teams.
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Troubleshoot and debug applications
- Work as part of a team to deploy latest releases of code and support the application on a 24*7 basis, including incident and problem resolution. Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Contribute to designing solutions that meet the strategic requirements of our business
- Identify improvement opportunities such as enhancements to standards or technical innovations to increase the quality and efficiency of delivery. Provide technical expertise and collaborate in teams operating across the UK

- Salary Circa £40,000 for National based (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
