Solutions Architect
Location: Norwich, Bristol, York, or Perth
Salary: Circa 60k
Do you thrive on designing scalable, reusable technology solutions that enable teams across the enterprise? This is an exciting opportunity to shape how core platforms and enabling services are used to accelerate delivery. If you are passionate about aligning solution architecture with business and technology strategy while reducing complexity and duplication, this role is for you.
A bit about the job:
As a Solution Architect within Technical and Enabling Services, you will play a key role in designing and shaping solutions across shared technology platforms and capabilities. This includes areas such as integration, automation, AI, document and content management, identity, networks, end user compute, and developer tooling.
You will work closely with enterprise architects, platform teams, and delivery squads to ensure solutions are aligned to strategic direction, make effective use of existing capabilities, and are designed for reuse, scalability, and security.
Your role will involve defining solution patterns, guiding delivery teams, and ensuring we maximise value from our enabling platforms while maintaining strong governance, security, and architectural alignment across infrastructure, platforms, and user-facing services.
Key skill and experience we are looking for
- Proven experience designing scalable, secure, and reusable end-to-end solutions across enterprise platforms and cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure).
- Ability to align solution designs with enterprise strategy, architecture principles, and platform roadmaps, driving reuse and simplification across the technology estate.
- Strong understanding of enabling platforms including integration, automation, AI/GenAI, identity, content management, and developer tooling.
- Security-by-design mindset, with experience embedding security, risk, governance, and regulatory requirements into technology solutions.
- Skilled learner, communicator and influencer, able to navigate ambiguity, challenge constructively, and engage effectively with delivery teams, platform owners, vendors, and senior stakeholders
