Strategic Account Manager

Salary £65,000 - £85,000

This is a great job for someone who has managed complex working relationships and worked across functional areas to deliver against account needs. You will have a track record of developing profitable relationships at a senior level with strategically significant customers and experience of implementing change.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of accounts, needs and Strategies and understand the needs of the end customer coupled with a thorough understanding of the financial services market and regulatory framework. 

A bit about the job:

The Strategic Account Manager will develop relationships and manage the contract between the SAM team and internal stakeholders. You will develop and manage strong relationships with external stakeholders at a strategic level and develop and implement an effective strategic account plan which delivers Aviva’s goals.

You will fully understand the accounts requirement and align Aviva’s resources and corporate strategy to maximise value for both internal and external customers plus ensure effective risk management processes, measures and controls are in place at all times to ensure compliance with relevant Group Policies and corporate governance regime.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Track record of successful account management. 
  • QCF level 4 qualified 
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Strong planning and personal organisations skills 
  • A deep understanding of the Financial Services market and its regulatory framework

  • Starting salary between £65,000 and £85,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
