A bit about the job:

This role exists to help advisers navigate technical and regulatory change with confidence by turning complexity into clear, engaging solutions.

Working across distribution, marketing and our technical teams, the consultant shapes learning, technical consultancy and content that supports good customer outcomes and strengthens adviser understanding.

The job also includes keeping abreast of legislative change, market developments and industry needs to identify emerging topics and opportunities. Supporting the technical function within the Wealth business, the consultant builds strong relationships with advisers, delivering applied technical sessions through webinars, videosevents and face‑to‑face events nationwide.

Every part of the role contributes to deeper adviser engagement, stronger technical capability and sustainable growth across Aviva’s Wealth business.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Strong pensions investments, tax or trust knowledge, with Diploma-level qualification essential. Chartered/STEP or Tax qualifications level desirable.
  • Proven experience delivering technical support and training to regulated advice firms.
  • Confident presenter with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to explain complex topics in everyday language, making them clear and actionable.
  • Comfortable working within risk frameworks and maintaining accurate records.
