A bit about the job 

You’ll join our Cyber Security Market Sec Ops team, helping to protect Aviva and our subsidiaries by providing clear, trusted security insight.  

Each day will bring something new – from managing DLP triage and quarantine workflows to supporting Active Directory access reviews and privileged access activity via ServiceNow. 

You’ll work closely with cyber colleagues across the business, turning technical information into practical guidance that helps teams make confident decisions.  

This role is based in Bristol/Norwich, with the chance to travel across Aviva locations when needed. 

Your work will directly support our mission to keep Aviva secure – today, and for a better tomorrow. 

Skills and experience we’re looking for 

  • Good understanding of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tooling, including triage and quarantine processes 

  • Experience with IT risk management and interpreting risk related guidance  

  • Strong awareness of user and group access controls in Active Directory and Entra 

  • Familiarity with IT access request processes (ideally including ServiceNow) 

  • Clear, confident communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts in everyday language (Security+, CISSP or CISM are helpful but not essential.)
