This is a great job for someone who enjoys turning data into meaningful insight and using analysis to influence business decisions. This role would suit someone with strong analytical skills who is curious about customer behaviour, commercial performance and digital trading. It is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working across teams, challenging thinking with evidence and helping deliver better outcomes for customers and the business.

A bit about the job:

The Direct & Digital Protection team plays an important role in helping customers access protection products through a range of digital, direct and partner channels. In this role, you will help senior leaders understand performance, identify opportunities and make better trading decisions through robust, data-led insight. You will track and analyse customer and commercial performance across our Aviva, Quotemehappy.com and Tesco channels, helping stakeholders understand the factors driving results. Working closely with Channel Leads and the wider matrix team, you will highlight risks, opportunities and emerging trends that support both short-term trading activity and longer-term growth. This is a varied role where your work will help embed a data-led and AI-leveraged culture to improve customer, commercial and risk outcomes across the business.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Strong analytical capability, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify meaningful trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Experience producing performance reporting and trading analysis, ideally within digital, direct-to-consumer, financial services or commercial environments.
  • Experience using analytical and reporting tools such as Excel, Qlik, Adobe Analytics, Snowflake or similar platforms.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear, practical insights that help stakeholders make informed decisions.
  • A proactive and curious approach, combined with a continuous improvement mindset and a desire to improve the quality, efficiency and value of insight.
