Underwriting Support Administrator

We’re looking for someone curious, organised and ready to grow. You’ll join our Operations Team in Cork, supporting our Commercial Underwriting colleagues. Together, we help brokers deliver great service to their clients. You’ll learn the ropes of commercial insurance and build the skills to take your career further.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support the Commercial Underwriting Team with admin tasks that keep things running smoothly
  • Prepare quotations in line with Aviva’s underwriting guidelines
  • Carry out initial assessments of commercial insurance requests
  • Manage risk requirements and follow up on team requests
  • Respond to queries and complete tasks with accuracy and care

Skills & Experiences

  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal
  • Good IT skills, especially Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Ability to manage your own workload and prioritise effectively
  • Interest in underwriting or experience in insurance
