Location: York or Norwich based (50% hybrid working)

Salary: circa £50,000

This role is ideal for someone with strong investment accounting experience who enjoys solving complex problems and working with numbers, systems, and people. A bit about the job:

The role exists to strengthen how Aviva records, analyses, and reports investment activity. It brings value by improving the accuracy, reliability, and clarity of our financial data, helping the business make confident decisions. The work involves collaborating with colleagues across Finance and Investments to deliver changes linked to accounting policies, systems, and regulatory requirements. Impact assessments, financial analysis, and project support form a core part of the role, ensuring that reporting remains robust and responsive to change. This position plays an important part in meeting regulatory expectations and supporting good outcomes for our customers.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Strong experience in investment accounting and reporting.

  • Good knowledge of IFRS and Solvency II.

  • Able to analyse financial data and produce clear, accurate reports.

  • Confident solving complex problems and managing multiple priorities.

  • Comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders.
