We’re looking for an Actuarial Analyst to join our Life team. You’ll support financial and regulatory reporting and get involved in a variety of actuarial tasks. This is a great opportunity to build your skills and contribute to work that shapes how we support our customers. You’ll collaborate with experienced actuaries and teams across the business, helping us deliver clear insights and confident decisions.  

 

Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Help produce accurate and timely financial and regulatory reports, including IFRS and Solvency II.  

  • Support analysis of changes in key metrics and share insights with senior colleagues.  

  • Contribute to assumption reviews and actuarial investigations throughout the year.  

  • Work within Aviva’s Financial Reporting Control Framework to maintain strong governance.  

  • Collaborate with Finance, Planning, Pricing, and Risk teams on cross-functional projects.  

  • Get involved in exciting change and transformation projects – helping the team make things better, smarter, and more efficient. 

 

Skills & Experiences 

  • Experience in actuarial or financial reporting, ideally within life insurance.  

  • Progressing through actuarial exams (IFoA or equivalent).  

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  

  • Clear and confident communication style.  

  • Comfortable working with data and reporting tools.
