Administrative Support

We have an opportunity for an Administrative Support colleague to join our Risk Claims team

This role is central to keeping our operations running smoothly. You’ll provide high‑quality administrative support across selected teams, helping people stay organised, informed and able to focus on delivering for our customers.

You’ll assist our leadership team with day‑to‑day controls, processes and coordination, ensuring the team functions efficiently and that essential tasks continue without disruption. This role replaces a colleague moving internally, so maintaining continuity is key.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support across teams to ensure efficient and effective day‑to‑day operations.
  • Manage shared mailboxes, prioritising and responding to queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Set up and process newly submitted claims, ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal guidelines.
  • Support the processing of medical fee payments, maintaining accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
  • Respond to internal and external enquiries, collaborating with other departments to keep communication and workflows running smoothly.

Skills & Experiences:

  • Experience in administrative support, coordination or a similar role where organisation and accuracy are essential.
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders across the business.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise, manage deadlines and maintain high‑quality output.
  • Proficiency in core IT systems (e.g. Outlook, Excel, document editing tools) and a willingness to learn new tools.
  • A proactive, dependable approach — someone who spots issues early, takes ownership and keeps things running smoothly.

What will you get for this role?

Our purpose - with you today, for a better tomorrow – is a promise we make to our colleagues too.  And one of the ways we live up to that promise is by investing in you.  We have so much to offer when it comes to being an Aviva colleague.

  • Generous pension (employee contribution matching of up to 14% if you contribute 8%)
  • Annual performance related bonus and pay review
  • Holiday allowance of 25 days plus bank holidays, and the option to buy/sell up to 5 additional days
  • Generous Health & dental insurance contributions after six months
  • Aviva Matching Share Plan and Save As You Earn scheme and Approved Profit Share Scheme
