A bit about the job:
The Finance & Investment Operations (FIO) Business & Portfolio Management Lead is a high-profile role responsible for providing financial management, governance and portfolio oversight across Finance & Investment Operations. Acting as a trusted business partner to the FIO Leadership Team, you'll lead cost management activities across BAU and Change budgets, ensuring robust forecasting, insightful reporting and effective financial control. You'll also oversee Investment Operations change governance, portfolio reporting, annual planning activities and demand management processes, helping to ensure strategic priorities are aligned to funding, resources and delivery capacity. Working closely with senior leaders, including the Director of Finance & Investment Operations, you'll play a key role in enabling informed decision-making and delivering value across the organisation.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
- Strong experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting within a complex business environment.
- Proven ability to build credibility with senior stakeholders and provide insightful financial business partnering and challenge.
- Experience managing portfolios, governance frameworks, change demand processes or PMO activities.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex financial and portfolio data into meaningful management insight and recommendations.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills, with experience preparing reporting and governance materials for senior forums and committees.

- Starting salary c. £75,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
