Business Analyst- Innovation & IT Change
Aviva Ireland looking for an accomplished Business Analyst to join our team in Cherrywood Dublin 18 for a 24-Month Fixed Term Contract. Aviva GI Ireland are currently undergoing an exciting and wide-ranging change program involving established and new technologies. Both aspects promise huge opportunity for the right candidate. We’ll need you to perform with our Actuarial Pricing Innovation & IT Change teams. You will be working inside the Actuarial Pricing Innovation team to help define business requirements, and then help to deliver these changes, working with our internal stakeholders and our corporate partners and service providers. Your expertise will be utilised in a roughly 50/50 time split, working on IT change on multiple BAU projects and working on the aforementioned actuarial pricing sophistication project.
Your ability to translate business requirements into clear IT systems requirements is key, as is the ability to follow through on delivery and to be adaptable. this will involve defining of technical requirements/user stories with stakeholders and leading requirement workshops.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Documentation of requirements
Working closely with IT teams to translate business requirements into IT technical deliveries.
Supporting technical requirements for the IT Development and Test teams.
Supporting delivery teams with planning and reporting.
Supporting developers and testing teams by clarifying of queries.
Internal governance - engaging with Compliance, DPO, Legal and Risk teams to ensure all regulatory requirements are considered.
Skills & Experiences:
Experience/ interest in new innovations, especially AI and Machine Learning is a must
Knowledge of business analysis techniques
Working on business requirements for projects related to IT / Digital development
Stakeholder management with Compliance, Finance, and external parties
Delivering change within General Insurance or Financial Services is advantageous.
Have a strong decision-making and prioritisation skillset
Be flexible to work on multiple pieces of work at a time
Demonstrate personal ownership of work and follow through to conclusions
