Business Analyst
Location: Dublin (Cherrywood)
Contract : 12 Months FTC

As a Business Analyst in our Aviva Direct Transformation team, you’ll help shape how we simplify and improve the way we work.
You’ll turn business needs into clear, practical requirements that help us deliver meaningful change for our customers and our colleagues.
You’ll work closely with teams across Product, IT, Underwriting and Operations — connecting people, creating clarity and keeping delivery moving.

Duties & ResponsibilitiesTranslate business needs into clear, concise requirements and user stories, securing the right sign‑offs at the right time.
Work closely with our third‑party IT partner to turn business needs into accurate technical specifications.
Lead collaborative workshops, document outcomes and steer teams towards agreement and action.
Engage proactively with Compliance, Risk, Legal, the DPO and other key support areas to keep delivery on track.
Support Development and Test teams with the information they need, keeping everything aligned with QA and deployment plans.
Strong experience in business analysis within insurance or financial services, with the ability to simplify complexity into practical, actionable requirements.
Confident stakeholder manager across business, IT and specialist support functions — including third‑party vendors.
Excellent communicator who listens well, asks the right questions and brings people with them.
A strong sense of ownership — you follow through, deliver, and take pride in high‑quality outcomes.
Experience managing timelines, scope and delivery plans for digital or operational change initiatives.
