Business Excellence Manager to COO

We’re looking for a Business Excellence Manager to help bring clarity, energy and cohesion to our ALPI COO function. You’ll work closely with senior leaders to drive progress across strategic initiatives, shape internal communications, and embed a culture of continuous improvement. This role is all about enabling delivery, connecting teams, and making sure our operations run smoothly and inclusively. You’ll be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team that’s focused on performance, engagement and transformation.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and track actions across COO initiatives, leadership meetings, ExCos, SteerCos and day-to-day team activity — supporting delivery, maintaining momentum, and helping manage the broader operational tasks.
  • Lead internal communications and engagement strategies that connect and inspire teams.
  • Deliver key events like Townhalls, Away Days and SLT meetings, shaping agendas and experiences.
  • Champion cultural change, inclusion, sustainability and continuous improvement across the function.
  • Support performance reviews and reporting into executive forums, ensuring visibility and accountability.

Skills & Experiences

  • Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to turn vision into action.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in performance tracking, risk management and stakeholder accountability.
  • Skilled in creating high-quality PowerPoint presentations that bring ideas to life and communicate clearly.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cultural change and embed inclusive, high-performance practices.
