We’re looking for a Claims Team Leader to help shape the future of our Claims Customer Experience Team in our Galway or Cork office. In this role, you’ll guide, coach and support a team of Claims Advisors to deliver excellent service, manage indemnity spend and build positive outcomes for our customers. You’ll lead with empathy and clarity, bringing people through change while ensuring they feel supported, informed and empowered. You’ll also play an influential role in improving how we work—spotting opportunities to simplify, modernise and enhance our end‑to‑end claims journey. Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Lead, motivate and support a team of Claims Advisors to achieve strong performance, great customer outcomes and effective indemnity management
  • Provide clear direction, regular feedback and constructive coaching to help colleagues grow and succeed
  • Guide the team through change, ensuring effective training, development and technical progression in claims management
  • Handle complex customer complaints and ensure they are resolved in line with Consumer Protection Code principles
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and act as the senior escalation point for cases within your authority

Skills & Experiences:
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to support teams through change
  • Strong communication skills—clear, empathetic and confident in both written and verbal interactions
  • Technical knowledge of Personal and Commercial Motor Insurance with minimum CIP Qualification
  • Experience coaching others, giving constructive feedback and supporting career development
  • Ability to oversee training, mentoring and supervision of new colleagues
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to use data and insight to identify performance blockers and improve processes
