A bit about the job:
We’re on a cloud transformation journey at Aviva, and security is at the heart of it.
As a Cloud Security Architect, you’ll join our Application & Platform Security team and work closely with Cloud Engineering and Architecture teams to embed security into every design decision.
You’ll lead the development of scalable, automated security solutions across Azure and AWS, helping us deliver resilient, compliant cloud services that enable innovation.
You’ll design and implement cloud security controls, run threat modelling and risk assessments, and integrate security into CI/CD pipelines. You’ll also help shape our cloud security strategy and mentor others, driving best practices and continuous improvement.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Proven experience as a Cloud Security Architect in enterprise-scale environments.
Deep expertise in Azure and AWS, including networking, IAM, and encryption.
Experience with CNAPP, cloud-native security services, and Open Policy Agent (OPA).
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and secure-by-design principles.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Starting salary between £85,000 and £95,000 (Bristol) or £95,000 and £110,000 (London), depending on skills, experience, and qualifications.
