Consumer Contract Litigator

Location: Bristol or Leeds – 50% hybrid

Consumer Contract Litigator – Salary circa £40,000

This is a great job for someone who has experience in contract litigation and enjoys helping clients navigate legal disputes. This role would suit a Solicitor, Legal Executive, or equivalent legal professional who is confident managing a caseload, providing practical legal advice, and delivering positive customer outcomes. Experience of handling consumer contract disputes and small claims litigation would be valuable.

A bit about the job: 

As a Consumer Contract Litigator, you'll join our Contracts team, managing a varied caseload of consumer contract claims funded through legal expenses insurance. You'll provide clear, practical legal advice, guide clients through the claims process, and proactively progress cases to resolution while ensuring fair customer outcomes. You'll also play a key role in recovering costs, maintaining accurate case records, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives that enhance both the customer experience and the performance of the department.

Skills and experience we’re looking for: 

• Solicitor or Legal Executive, or have experience at an equivalent level.

• Experience of contract litigation, including managing Small Claims matters. Fast Track litigation experience is desirable.

• Ability to work well under pressure with high attention to detail.

• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders and peers.

• Experience of collaborating within a high performing team.

• Salary circa £40,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
