Corporate Governance Manager – Salary circa £75,000
We are looking for an ambitious Corporate Governance professional who is keen to take the next step in their career! A bit about the job:
As a Corporate Governance Manager, for Aviva Capital Partners (ACP), you will support the Group and Plc Company Secretarial team, ensuring the provision of high-end corporate governance support.
ACP invest Aviva’s capital to open up new opportunities for UK growth: help develop thriving, sustainable communities, while generating long-term returns for our customers. The business is undertaking major developments in London, Birmingham and Norwich and you will help deliver these as well as a pipeline of future investments.
You will be responsible for providing end-to-end support to a portfolio of ACP’s entities including delivering of timely and accurate governance advice, maintaining statutory records and registers, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies for this rapidly growing business. You’ll support the Board, act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and work closely with investment and finance teams. The role also contributes to the development of best practice governance across the wider Aviva Group, including collaboration with Subsidiary Governance and other Corporate Governance teams.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Qualified company secretary with extensive listed company secretarial and corporate governance knowledge, gained from working for FTSE 250 companies previously.
- Superb senior stakeholder management skills, confident communicating up to Executive/Director level.
- Solid knowledge of company law, administration, and corporate governance, with a particular emphasis on the UK listed company environment.
- Excellent self-management i.e., the ability to work independently, making business critical decisions.
- Ability to perform in broad role and deal with ambiguity and good attention to detail, matched with excellent presentation & report writing skills.

- Salary circa £75,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
