An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Wealth Analytics and Data Science team helping shape the future of Wealth & Advice at Aviva through cutting-edge analytics.

A bit about the job:

The UK IWR Wealth Analytics team makes it click by helping our stakeholders understand customers better, achieve sustainable growth and inform data driven decisions.

In this role you will use practical knowledge of data analytics and play a key role informing business decisions through the use of data analysis, particularly with areas of the business that are growing.
You will utilise your skills and knowledge of data programming languages to create data science models and provide data insights, and take responsibility of maximising the usage of data to drive business decisions. 

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• You’ll have an analytical mind and a genuine passion for data. If you have studied a STEM related subject then great, but it’s not a requirement. 
• You love getting your head around complex problems, and you’re able to explain them.
• What’s equally relevant is programming knowledge and a gift for coding using: R, Python, SQL, SAS or Spark.
• You’ll also need the capability to deliver projects, collaborate with our Direct Wealth and Wealth & Advice teams, and be able to explain technical concepts to non-specialists.

• Salary Circa £38,000 for National based (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
