Enterprise Risk Manager – 12-month FTC
National salary: circa £60,000
London salary: circa £70,000
This is a great opportunity for an enterprise risk professional to join the Aviva Insurance Limited (AIL) Enterprise Risk team for a 12-month maternity cover role. A bit about the job:
Championing our risk culture and helping to guide the UK General Insurance (UKGI) business through an ever-evolving risk landscape you will collaborate across our Second Line and various First Line teams to provide valuable, valued and trusted oversight and advice to support key decision-making, completion of key assurance, reporting and emerging risks and deep dive analyses. You will also support the implementation and maintenance of AIL’s Risk Management Framework (RMF) which includes the setting and monitoring of key risk appetites and financial risk tolerances and limits.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Experience working in the Financial Services industry, ideally within insurance, in an enterprise risk role. Actuarial and audit experience is a great addition but not a must.
- Strong business acumen with an up to date understanding of risks and opportunities facing the insurance (ideally GI) market.
- Excellent analytical, communication (written and verbal) and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to prepare and present risk reports to senior managers and management committees (including proficiency in PowerPoint).

- National salary: circa £60,000 – London salary: circa £70,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
