It’s ideal for someone keen to be involved in major initiatives such as acquisitions and integration projects, while helping shape how Aviva communicates its equity story.

A bit about the job:


You’ll join our high-performing Group External Reporting team on a secondment basis, helping shape how we communicate Aviva’s equity story to investors, leaders, and the public. The role involves working closely with teams across the Group—including technical accounting, FP&A, investor relations, and media—to deliver high-quality financial reporting. You’ll provide insightful analysis for internal reporting and help craft key messages for external publications. You’ll also support strategic initiatives such as the integration of Direct Line and its impact on Group targets.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • A qualified accountant with a strong interest in external reporting and a desire to grow in a Group environment.

  • You bring a positive, can-do attitude, collaborate well, and can solve complex problems even in ambiguous situations.

  • Highly organised, able to manage multiple deadlines, and take full accountability for your work.

  • Understand the importance of controls and can clearly evidence and document them.

  • You’re a confident communicator with strong stakeholder and presentation skills, able to turn financial data into clear insights.

  • Salary National between £45,000k-£55,000/London between £50,000k-£60,000  (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
