Finance & Reporting Analyst

We’ve an exciting opportunity for a Finance & Reporting Analyst to join our IT Finance team. This role plays an important part in delivering accurate reporting, strong financial control and data‑led insight to support decision making.

In this role, you’ll manage the end‑to‑end reporting cycle, from month‑end close through to forecasting and analysis, working closely with IT and Finance partners. It’s a great opportunity to build your experience in a data‑rich environment, developing both your technical skills and commercial awareness.

You’ll play a key role in understanding cost drivers and supporting better planning and forecasting. It’s a great opportunity to build your commercial impact in a visible and evolving area of the business.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage the IT month‑end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting

• Analyse financial results and variances, helping to explain key drivers and trends in a clear and simple way

• Support budgeting, forecasting and business case development across IT cost areas

• Work with stakeholders across IT, Procurement and Finance to ensure accurate data and consistent reporting

• Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance reporting, and increase efficiency through automation

Skills & Experience

• Experience in a finance role such as accounts payable, accounts technician, or financial analysis, with a willingness to develop further

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large and complex data sets

• Understanding of financial reporting, month‑end processes, budgeting or forecasting

• Strong Excel skills and ideally experience with tools such as Power BI or similar

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial insights to non‑finance audiences.
