12-month Fixed-term contract

Location: Norwich or Leeds based (50% hybrid working)

Salary: £29,000 - £33,000

This is a great job for someone who enjoys working with data, spotting patterns, and making sure information is accurate and reliable. This role would suit someone who is curious, detail-focused, and confident working with large datasets or data flows, and who is motivated to improve how data is governed and managed.

Please note that we can offer this role as a 12-month FTC.

A bit about the job:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the General Insurance Finance team as it brings in and integrates data from Direct Line while continuing to evolve its data systems. In this role, you will support how data flows from source systems into Finance, helping to make sure that accountants and actuaries receive accurate, high-quality information when they need it.

In this role, you will monitor data flows, produce assurance reporting at key stages, and help identify, record, and resolve data issues. You will also play a key part in strengthening data governance and data quality across General Insurance Finance.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Experience working with large volumes of data, data flows, or data management processes

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve data issues

  • Experience using data queries, reporting tools, or similar analytical techniques

  • An interest in data governance, data quality, or assurance frameworks

  • Backgrounds in areas such as finance, claims, incident management, or ServiceNow are beneficial but not essential
