Contract type: Fixed-term 24 months

Do you love spotting patterns, solving problems, and helping teams do things better?
This is a great job for someone who’s confident working with stakeholders, has a sharp eye for operational risk, and enjoys making a real impact. Whether you’re stepping up from a first-line role or bringing experience from financial services, this could be your next move.

A bit about the job:

  • You’ll help build a strong risk-aware culture by working closely with first-line teams.

  • You’ll carry out assurance reviews to spot trends, risks and areas for improvement.

  • You’ll support teams to understand the impact of operational risks and how to manage them.

  • You’ll help shape and roll out risk policies and procedures that make a difference.

  • You’ll take an independent view, but work collaboratively to drive change.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Great communication skills – clear, confident and collaborative.

  • Experience in operational risk or assurance, ideally in financial services.

  • Strong analytical skills – you know how to interpret data and spot what matters.

  • Comfortable working independently and with senior stakeholders.

  • A good understanding of regulations like the Consumer Protection Code, Pensions Act and Criminal Justice Act.
