This is a great job for someone who…
Loves turning Artificial Intelligence ambition into real, measurable outcomes – and is energised by working at pace.
If you’re a transformation leader who thrives in fast‑moving environments, can adapt quickly as priorities shift, and enjoys shaping strategy while leading delivery at scale, this could be your next move.
You’ll be comfortable navigating uncertainty, making informed decisions with incomplete information, and adjusting direction as the AI, regulatory and business landscape evolves.
Working across a matrix organisation, you’ll influence senior leaders, bring clarity where things are complex, and help teams stay focused on what matters most – customers, colleagues and value.
A bit about the job
This role exists to help Aviva realise the full value of Artificial Intelligence for our customers, colleagues and business – in a landscape that’s changing quickly.

You’ll own a portfolio of AI‑enabled transformation deliveries, setting direction, defining how we work, and making sure our solutions are reusable, well governed and able to adapt as needs evolve.
Working closely with technology, business and external partners, you’ll balance momentum with control – leading both change and run responsibilities in an environment where flexibility and judgement really matter.
Skills and experience we’re looking for
Proven experience leading large-scale transformation or change portfolios in fast‑moving environments, ideally across technology, data or AI
Strong strategic leadership, with the ability to set direction, adapt operating models and deliver outcomes as circumstances change
Experience working in regulated environments, balancing pace with risk management, governance and controls
Confident senior stakeholder leadership, able to influence across CIO, COO and business communities, even where priorities compete
Commercial and delivery expertise, including budget ownership, supplier management and building resilient, high performing teams
