A Bit About the Role:
Within this role you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and timely release of our software applications while driving transformation, cost optimization, and a customer-centric culture. This position requires a strong background in software testing, along with expertise in driving DevOps practices, improving quality, and enhancing the overall customer experience. The Head of Software Testing and Release will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software development, product management, quality assurance, and operations, to deliver high-quality and customer-focused software solutions.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Extensive experience in software testing, with a proven track record of leading and managing software testing teams
Extensive experience in driving software testing transformation, implementing DevOps practices, and optimizing costs
Strong understanding of agile methodologies, continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), and test automation frameworks
Demonstrated ability to think strategically, drive change, and champion a culture of quality and customer-centricity

Salary circle £130,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
Bonus opportunity – 25% of annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
