We’re looking for a dynamic leader to head up our Retirement Operations team at Aviva Life & Pensions Ireland (ALPI). This role is all about delivering exceptional customer outcomes across our retirement product lines—ARFs, Annuities, and Bulk Purchase Annuities—while ensuring compliance and operational excellence. You’ll shape scalable service models, lead a high-performing team, and drive innovation to meet evolving customer and regulatory needs. Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end servicing for retirement products, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and customer focus.
Design and implement operating models for new propositions like Bulk Purchase Annuities.
Drive continuous improvement and innovation, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency.
Manage budgets and optimise resource capacity across onshore and offshore teams.
Champion governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance across all operations.
Skills & Experiences:
Deep knowledge of retirement products (ARFs, Annuities, BPAs) and Irish Revenue rules.
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, including MCC and Central Bank standards.
Proven leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and complex operations.
Expertise in operational strategy, process optimisation, and change management.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
Experience implementing Target Operating Models and scaling new propositions.

This is a Regulated Role and will be subject to enhanced pre-employment screening procedures. There will be an on-going requirement for the role holder to maintain fit and proper status
