This is a great job for someone who is passionate about leading large-scale transformation and wants to shape how value is delivered across a complex, high‑profile portfolio.

This role would suit an experienced transformation or PMO leader who has led significant (£100m+) change initiatives and is ready to take on a highly visible, enterprise-critical leadership position.

A bit about the job:

This is a pivotal leadership role at the heart of Aviva’s health transformation, where we are making significant investment to drive long-term growth and value. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, you will shape how transformation is planned, governed and realised, ensuring transparency, assurance, and measurable outcomes.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience leading large-scale transformation programmes (£100m+), ideally within regulated environments such as health or insurance
  • Strong commercial acumen, with expertise in areas such as cost control, supplier/partner management or portfolio-level benefits realisation
  • Deep understanding of modern portfolio and programme delivery, including agile, lean governance and hybrid delivery models
  • Track record of improving performance in complex programmes, including diagnosing issues and driving successful turnaround plans
  • Ability to influence and build trust with senior stakeholders, including executive-level leaders, while leading and developing high-performing teams
