Salary: Regional c. £35,000 and London c. £40,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
Location: London, York, Norwich, Bristol
We’re looking for an Internal Communications Executive who’s energetic, proactive and loves getting things done.
This role is part of Aviva’s Brand and Corporate Affairs Internal Communications team, based in London. You’ll work across all our Group Functions, making sure their voices are heard and their stories are shared. You’ll be hands-on – publishing content, keeping channels lively and helping teams get the recognition they deserve.
If you thrive in a busy team, enjoy supporting others and want to learn and grow in internal comms, we’d love to hear from you.
A bit about the job:
You’ll report to the Functions Internal Communications Lead and be part of a small, supportive team responsible for communications across all our Group Functions. You’ll also work closely with the wider Internal Communications team. Day to day, you’ll be publishing content, sending messages, keeping Workvivo up to date, and finding stories that show what our functions do.
You’ll help with planning and coordination for updates, events and campaigns, and be a helpful point of contact for colleagues who need comms support. You’ll make sure content is clear, consistent and on brand, and pitch in whenever big moments come around.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
We’re not hung up on years of experience for this role. What matters most is your attitude and approach. You’re probably someone who:
Has some experience in internal comms, corporate comms or a similar role. If you’re ready to learn and get involved, you’ll fit right in
Is organised and able to prioritise multiple tasks
Builds good relationships, works well with different teams and enjoys working as part of a supportive, collaborative team
Is comfortable publishing content and managing channels (Workvivo, email, intranet)
A people person and a great teammate with low ego and high EQ - an energetic, positive and a welcome addition to every room
