A bit about the job:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manager to join our Group Investigations team. In this role, you will support and conduct investigations into alleged financial and non-financial misconduct, ensuring thorough and efficient outcomes. You will collaborate with business stakeholders and various teams within Aviva to provide insights on Business Ethics Code risk types and contribute to the development of a strong ethical culture within Aviva.

Our Group Investigations team plays a crucial role in achieving this by investigating and reporting on serious breaches of our Business Ethics Code. We cover a wide range of investigations, including financial misconduct and non-financial misconduct (NFM) such as harassment and bullying.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Proven knowledge and understanding of investigation principles, methodology and approach is essential.
  • Experience in investigating whistleblower concerns, non-financial and financial misconduct, financial crime, forensic accounting, or audit in financial services is essential.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills with the ability to manage sensitive and challenging situations with professionalism and empathy.
  • Experience in managing projects and working with multi-location, multi-cultural teams.
  • Strong skills in evidence gathering, forensic accounting, attention to detail, analysis, interviewing, and report writing.

  • Salary circa £50,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
