Are you someone who enjoys working with data, building your technical expertise and  developing a career in finance?
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their accounting, reporting and investment knowledge within a highly collaborative team. This role could also offer the scope  for career progression and it would suit someone who has strong analytical skills, enjoys  working with detail and is keen to gain exposure to a wide range of investment reporting activities supporting some of Aviva's most significant investment assets.

A bit about the job:

The Investment Reporting team provides critical services across Aviva, supporting the reporting  and oversight of approximately £400bn of investment assets held across our market legal entities. In this role, you will support the delivery of core business-as-usual activities, helping the team provide accurate statutory and regulatory reporting, high-quality investment data and
key information to stakeholders across the business.

You will contribute to month-end and intra-month reporting processes, support investment  data validation and enrichment activities, and help deliver information to teams across Actuarial, ALM, Tax and Investments.

Alongside this, you will support reporting requirements  including IFRS disclosures, Solvency II reporting, credit risk reporting and investment data  controls. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a broad understanding of investment reporting while developing technical and stakeholder management skills within a team that supports the wider business every day.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work accurately with large volumes of financial or investment data with a good level of Excel skills.
  • Previous experience in finance, investments, accounting or reporting, supported by relevant qualifications, studies or practical experience
  • Good attention to detail and the ability to follow established processes and controls.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and stakeholders.

What you’ll get for this role:

Our purpose - with you today, for a better tomorrow – is a promise we make to our colleagues too. And one of the ways we live up to that promise is by investing in you. We have so much to offer when it comes to being an Aviva colleague.
