Are you someone who enjoys improving how technology risks are managed and controlled?
We're looking for an experienced IT Controls Testing Manager to join our Technology Operations and Services team.
This role would suit someone with experience in IT controls testing, technology risk, IT audit or cyber security who enjoys working with stakeholders across a business to drive strong control standards and continuous improvement.
A bit about the job:
You'll help us understand how effective our technology and cyber controls are by designing, documenting and delivering control testing across a range of IT and security standards.
Working closely with colleagues across Technology, Risk and the wider business, you'll assess whether controls are designed effectively and operating as intended.
Your insight will help identify opportunities to strengthen our control environment, manage risk and support better outcomes for our customers and colleagues.
You'll also play a key role in developing and enhancing testing methodologies across the organisation
Skills and experience we're looking for:
Experience in IT Controls Testing, Internal Audit, Risk Management, Cyber Security, or a similar assurance role.
Strong understanding of operational risk management and control frameworks within a technology environment & Good knowledge of IT infrastructure, cyber security, and technology operations.
Experience assessing the design and operating effectiveness of controls against recognised frameworks such as NIST, ITIL and ISO 27001.
Strong communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills, with the ability to build effective relationships, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality outcomes to agreed deadlines.
A proactive and analytical mindset, with the ability to identify risks, challenge constructively, and drive continuous improvement.

Salary: Circa £55K (depending on location, skills, experience and qualifications)
