We are seeking our next Graduate MI Analyst to join Aviva Ireland!

You will support the MI Team Lead and members in leveraging data to drive business insights. Your role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams, making strong communication and teamwork essential. Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Lead Analyst and senior team members in their data analysis tasks, providing valuable insights and contributing to the overall success of the team. Benefit from mentorship opportunities to enhance your skills and grow professionally.
  • Perform data analysis using Snowflake, Oracle SQL, and Python to support business decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using QLIK and Power BI to visualise data insights.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and reporting. Ensure data integrity and accuracy by testing and cross checking against different sources.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
  • Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI). Strong knowledge of SQL for querying databases and managing data. Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a necessity.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Previous internship or project experience in data analysis or related fields is desirable, but not required.
  • Relevant certifications in data analysis or visualisation tools.
