Business Analyst - General Insurance (Personal Lines)
An exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst has just become available within the Aviva Personal Lines change team for a 24-month contract, delivering multiple initiatives from ideation to deployment. The role is focussed on delivering new initiatives to our personal insurance products and systems, and to work closely with our Broker & Customers to support them in their digital journey.
Duties & Key responsibilities:
- Lead and co-ordinate requirement workshops with business stakeholders including documentation of requirements and securing business sign off.
- Work closely with third party IT partners to translate business requirements to IT technical specifications and ensure accuracy of same while supporting technical requirements for the IT Development and Test teams.
- Engaging with key internal business support teams e.g. Compliance, DPO, Legal, Risk etc while adhering to agreed QA and business deployment plan and ensuring management of issues and risks if or when they may arise.
- Ownership of change requests to existing products and consistently managing the change cycle from initialisation to completion.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
You will have experience of delivering change within General Insurance or Financial Services industry including the following:
- Strong analysis, design & solutioning experience to define business requirements & outcomes.
- Stakeholder management experience across business, IT, and support functions e.g., Compliance, Finance and third party vendors.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills with strong decision-making, prioritisation skillset and the ability to operate effectively under pressure in dealing with multiple customers and timelines.
- Flexibility to work on multiple pieces of work at a time with confidence to demonstrate personal ownership/responsibility for work with thorough follow through.
