Motor Damage Defendant Litigator (CILEX or Solicitor Qualified)

This is a great job for someone who is a qualified Solicitor or CILEX professional and enjoys managing litigated motor claims. You may already have motor litigation experience, or you may be looking to build on a broader civil litigation background. If you enjoy balancing technical legal work with delivering great customer outcomes, we'd love to hear from you.

A bit about the job:

You'll join a small and successful team that defends litigated motor damage claims. We manage claims from receipt of proceedings through to settlement or final hearing. Your work will help us deliver fair customer outcomes while managing costs and meeting legal and regulatory standards. You'll use your legal expertise to make clear decisions, progress cases efficiently, and support colleagues across the team. Together, we'll help customers move forward when they need us most.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) or CILEX professional with a current practising certificate and litigation rights.

• Proven experience handling civil litigation matters, ideally including motor damage litigation and Road Traffic Accident (RTA) claims.

• Strong drafting, negotiation, and case management skills, with the ability to manage cases effectively from inception to resolution.

• Sound legal judgement and decision-making skills, with a focus on achieving fair and balanced outcomes.

• Ability to manage competing priorities while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high professional standards.
