Are you ready to take charge and make a real impact? As a Operations Supplier Relationship Manager at Aviva, you'll be at the forefront of managing and optimizing relationships with our third-party suppliers, ensuring they deliver top-notch services and products that exceed expectations. You'll be the driving force behind our Operations team, working closely with internal stakeholders to unlock value, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Build and nurture dynamic relationships with key suppliers to foster collaboration and peak performance.
  • Lead the charge in negotiating, implementing, and managing supplier contracts, ensuring compliance and maximizing value.
  • Regularly assess supplier performance against KPIs and SLAs, and spearhead improvement initiatives to elevate standards.
  • Identify and tackle risks associated with supplier relationships, including financial, operational, and reputational challenges.
  • Work hand-in-hand with internal stakeholders to align supplier services with business objectives and drive success.
  • Propel continuous improvement initiatives to boost supplier performance and achieve significant cost savings.
  • Ensure all supplier activities adhere to Aviva's policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in supplier management, procurement, or a related field, in a regulated industry is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement and supplier management best practices.
  • Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
  • Proactive and resilient with strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Works well with others and fosters a team-oriented environment.
