Personal Lines Pricing Actuary

We’re looking for a Personal Lines Pricing Actuary to join our Pricing team in Dublin, Galway, or Cork. In this role, you’ll work alongside a team of qualified and trainee actuaries to deliver pricing insights and recommendations that support fair outcomes for our customers and strong performance for Aviva Insurance Ireland. You’ll collaborate with key stakeholders across the business in a partnership-based approach, contributing to shared goals and values. This is a great opportunity to influence pricing strategy and make a tangible impact on our products and customer experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead pricing recommendations, insights, and analysis for Personal Lines products
  • Translate technical price changes into street pricing
  • Apply customer behavioural models to enhance pricing accuracy and improve customer outcomes
  • Generate insights on Actual Price vs Technical Price (APTP) and Fair Pricing
  • Own the regular price setting and implementation processes
  • Support the development and launch of new Personal Lines products by providing pricing expertise and analytical input throughout the design and implementation phases

Skills & Experiences:

  • Qualified or nearly qualified actuary with significant experience
  • Proven experience in pricing, ideally within Personal Lines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of the Irish insurance market beneficial
  • Experience with SQL, Emblem, and Radar
