Customer Data Platforms (CDP) is a collection of data platform teams that facilitate fundamental customer interactions and journeys, which enable Aviva to deliver on its customer-centric strategy.
The role sits within the Delivery function to shape and drive the successful delivery of change across our Customer Data Platforms, and spans multiple portfolios including Customer & Marketing (C&M), GI and IWR.
You’ll be at the heart of delivering technology change that supports our marketing capabilities and operational customer data, working across a complex and evolving landscape of platforms and teams. This is a leadership role that blends delivery discipline with Agile ways of working to ensure outcomes are delivered reliably, predictably, and with real business impact.
A bit about the job:
- Lead the delivery of technology change across the Customer Data Platforms, ensuring alignment with strategic business outcomes.
- Manage and motivate a diverse team of delivery professionals, including permanent staff, contractors, and offshore resources.
- Champion Agile practices within engineering teams and across broader project environments, adapting delivery approaches to suit context.
- Own delivery risk management across your initiatives, ensuring proactive identification, mitigation, and transparent reporting.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across business and technology to ensure delivery remains aligned and responsive.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Solid understanding of Agile values, principles, and delivery methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe), with the ability to apply them pragmatically.
- Proven experience in leading delivery across complex, multi-team environments, ideally within data or technology platforms.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence, inspire, and drive collaboration.
- Skilled in facilitation, coaching, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and to have a delivery-focused mindset with a passion for enabling teams to succeed and deliver value.

- Starting salary Circa £70,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
