This role would suit an experienced operations leader - particularly someone with strong Salesforce expertise - who is ready to make a significant impact in our Health business.
A bit about the job:
As our Health Operations Lead, you’ll play a central role in ensuring Aviva Health’s platforms are secure, highly available, and constantly improving. You’ll lead the end‑to‑end service management of all Health systems, working closely with technology teams, business colleagues, and external partners to keep services stable, safe, and customer‑centred.
You’ll drive strategic planning, operational governance, essential maintenance, and incident management - ensuring that changes land safely and performance consistently meets our agreed standards.
This role is pivotal to the smooth running of our Health proposition, and your work will directly impact both customer experience and business outcomes.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Strong leadership experience, with the ability to motivate diverse internal and external teams and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Deep expertise in Salesforce—particularly Health Cloud and Insurance Cloud—and experience supporting Salesforce platforms operationally.
- Proven ability to manage complex technology estates, including service resilience, risk management, incident recovery, and continuous improvement.
- Experience working in Agile/Scaled Agile environments, with the ability to influence cultural change and embed modern ways of working.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the confidence to make decisions under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

- Salary National £80,000 - £100,000/ London: £90,000 - £120,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
- Bonus opportunity - 12% of annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
