This is a great job for someone who loves change, transformation and making complex portfolios work better.

You’ll suit this role if you’re an experienced portfolio or PMO professional who understands change governance as a value driver, not a tick‑box exercise. You’ll be ambitious, proactive and confident operating at pace in a complex change environment – someone who enjoys removing waste, simplifying processes and taking stakeholders on a positive journey to better outcomes.

The Claims Portfolio & PMO team is a high‑performing and highly valued part of the Claims Transformation function, playing a critical role in enabling Aviva to deliver industry‑changing solutions with customers at the heart. This role exists to strengthen portfolio management, aggregation, reporting and governance across Claims change. Working closely with the Portfolio & PMO Lead, programme leaders, PMOs and senior business stakeholders, you’ll shape portfolio strategy, improve processes, and ensure high‑quality data and insight supports decision‑making and delivery of strategic outcomes.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Strong experience of change delivery and portfolio governance within a large, complex transformation environment
  • Proven capability in financial portfolio management, including month‑end processes, accruals, journals and recharges (preferred)
  • Experience of resource and capacity planning at portfolio or transformation level
  • Excellent portfolio‑level reporting skills, including pack production and clear storytelling for senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrable experience of improving processes, challenging existing ways of working and driving efficiencies
