It would suit someone with experience in actuarial modelling, underwriting or data‑led pricing who wants to work on cutting‑edge propositions and help deliver strong customer outcomes. A bit about the job:

You’ll play a key role in supporting the growth of our retail portfolio by developing high‑quality, analysis‑based pricing recommendations. Working as part of our wider General Insurance Pricing team, you’ll design and maintain pricing models, contribute to the development of new propositions, and support ongoing enhancements to existing pricing structures.

You’ll use new data sources, statistical analyses and actuarial techniques to identify opportunities that improve customer value, competitiveness and profitability. You’ll also respond to queries from policyholders, distributors and reinsurers, ensuring clarity and accuracy in every interaction.

Above all, you’ll help us deliver good customer outcomes—supporting fair value, avoiding foreseeable harm, and enabling customers to pursue their financial objectives.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Experience in actuarial pricing, underwriting analysis, data science or similar analytical environment

• Strong technical capability in pricing tools, statistical modelling or actuarial systems

• Ability to translate data into clear, actionable pricing recommendations

• Understanding of pricing principles, customer value, profitability and regulatory considerations

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to respond to technical queries clearly and professionally
