A bit about the job:
You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering pricing and underwriting excellence across our Retail Speciality Lines portfolio, with a particular focus on telematics. Working closely with teams across Personal Lines — including Trading, Finance, Claims, Risk and Analytics — you’ll ensure pricing and underwriting strategies support our wider business plans.
You’ll be accountable for analysing the commercial impact of pricing actions both before and after implementation, ensuring our decisions drive growth, sustainability and competitive performance.
You’ll also lead, coach and develop a small team of Pricing Consultants, ensuring robust governance, regulatory compliance and strong customer and conduct outcomes throughout all activity.
This is a critical role that shapes how we price, compete and deliver value to customers in an evolving digital insurance market.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Strong understanding of the UK general insurance market (telematics experience preferred)
First‑class pricing and underwriting capability within Personal Lines
Experience coaching others
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to think both strategically and operationally
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across functions

Salary: Competitive (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
