Product Monitoring Team Lead
Are you a highly motivated, detail-oriented leader with a passion for coding and strong analytical skills? At Aviva Life & Pensions, we're looking for a Team Leader to join our Product Monitoring team within the Commercial Function. You'll play a crucial role in overseeing our product range, business processes, and system infrastructure to ensure excellent customer outcomes. You'll lead various business projects and develop a comprehensive understanding of our Life and Pensions portfolio. Your leadership will ensure smooth operation of our product review processes and high standards in supporting our customer-facing teams.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead and Manage: Guide a team of Product Monitoring Actuarial Analysts and Data Scientists, providing mentorship and support.
- Technical Oversight: Oversee the analysis of product requirements, business processes, and system infrastructure.
- Customer Support: Ensure the team provides clear, accurate information to customer-facing teams.
- Coding and Data Analysis: Develop coding skills (SQL, VBA) within the team for data analysis.
- Automation and Efficiency: Lead initiatives to automate product monitoring controls.
Skills & Experiences:
- Educational Background: Degree in Data Science, Actuarial Science, or related field.
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading and managing a team.
- Customer Focus: Strong focus on customer outcomes and problem-solving.
- Attention to Detail: High degree of accuracy in work.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills for explaining results to non-technical teams.
