This is a great job for an experienced programme leader who has delivered major digital, AI or technology change initiatives. It would particularly suit someone skilled at working with senior stakeholders, shaping strategy and driving delivery at pace in a large organisation.

A bit about the job

This role exists to lead Aviva’s end‑to‑end Virtual Assistant (VA) transformation—one of our most strategically important GenAI programmes. You’ll work across business, technology, data and operations teams to define the VA roadmap and ensure safe, effective and high‑value delivery. You’ll be responsible for programme leadership, governance, structured planning and stakeholder engagement across Aviva and key partners. You will also lead the Virtual Assistant programme across all workstreams, facilitating the creation and refinement of the VA scope, roadmap, design principles and value framework. A critical part of the role is unifying delivery teams from Aviva, BCG and other third parties around shared priorities, integration plans and success measures.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience leading complex digital, AI or technology integration programmes in a large organisation with leading
  • Strong knowledge of delivering projects and knowledge of Aviva change frameworks.
  • Excellent planning and delivery capability, with a track record of building and managing structured programme plans.
  • A confident communicator skilled at influencing senior stakeholders and simplifying complex topics for non‑technical audiences.
  • Experience coordinating multi‑partner delivery environments and managing third‑party vendors

  • Starting salary circa £75,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
