Programme Manager
We are looking for an experienced Supplier Management Lead to support Health Evolution, a major transformation programme shaping the future Health platform and operating model. This is a high-impact role for someone who can bring structure, commercial discipline and supplier management expertise to a complex multi-supplier environment, with a particular focus on PwC delivery governance and Salesforce SaaS commercial management.
Why this role matters
HEVO is working with strategic partners to deliver a new Health platform capability. As the programme scales, supplier performance, commercial control and SaaS cost management are becoming increasingly important. The successful candidate will help ensure the programme has the right governance, data and commercial insight to manage supplier delivery effectively and secure strong value outcomes.
This role will be especially important as Salesforce licensing becomes more complex, moving beyond simple per-seat licensing into modular products, SKU management and token-based or metered usage. You will help the programme understand current and future licence requirements, forecast cost exposure, optimise usage and build a sustainable approach that can transition into the future Health operating model.
What you will be doing
· Lead day-to-day supplier management activity across HEVO, with a focus on PwC delivery governance and Salesforce commercial, licensing and SaaS management.
· Set up, run and continuously improve supplier governance forums, including agendas, actions, decision logs, scorecards, escalations and performance reporting.
· Track supplier commitments, deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues and obligations, ensuring the programme has a clear view of performance and commercial exposure.
· Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of Salesforce licence types, entitlements, usage, allocation and cost drivers across the programme.
· Build licence and usage cost models, including forward-looking forecasts linked to the HEVO roadmap, user volumes, release plans and token or metered consumption assumptions.
· Identify opportunities to optimise Salesforce usage, licence allocation and commercial outcomes, including under-used licences, SKU management, renewal considerations and licence credits.
· Support commercial discussions with Salesforce and PwC by providing robust data, insight, options and recommendations.
· Work closely with Procurement, Finance, Technology, programme delivery teams and future BAU owners to ensure supplier management is joined up and aligned to enterprise governance.
· Prepare clear supplier management updates for programme governance, highlighting performance, risks, decisions required and optimisation opportunities.
· Support the transition of supplier management capability into the future Health operating model.
What we are looking for
· Strong supplier, vendor or commercial management experience in a complex transformation, technology or platform delivery environment.
· Experience managing major SaaS vendors, ideally Salesforce or comparable enterprise platforms.
· Good understanding of SaaS commercial models, including user-based licensing, modular products, SKUs, consumption-based charging, token-based pricing and enterprise licence agreements.
· Ability to translate platform usage, product roadmaps and licence data into financial forecasts, cost scenarios and practical commercial recommendations.
· Experience working with Procurement, Finance, Technology and senior business stakeholders to drive commercial control and supplier performance.
· Strong governance discipline, including scorecards, action tracking, performance reporting, escalation management and decision support.
· Analytical confidence, with the ability to work with usage data, cost drivers, forecasts and commercial assumptions.
· Clear, confident communication style, with the ability to simplify complex supplier, licence and SaaS cost topics for senior audiences.
Ideal background
· Supplier management, vendor management, commercial management, procurement, FinOps, SaaS cost management or technology transformation background.
· Experience operating in large, complex organisations with multiple senior stakeholders and strategic supplier relationships.
· Experience supporting enterprise platform programmes, cloud or SaaS adoption, Salesforce implementations or large-scale digital transformation.
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced programme environment where priorities, requirements and cost assumptions evolve over time.
· Able to provide constructive challenge to suppliers and internal stakeholders while maintaining collaborative working relationships.
